The above map was created in Summer 2017 for the Worker Cooperative Support Summit. It includes organizations that have worker cooperatives on their radar, ones that have indicated interest in worker cooperatives, ones that have partnered with someone in the network, and ones that have been trained by the Center for Family Life as part of their program on cooperative development. It also includes organizations that are presently developing businesses and providing them services (i.e. legal, financial, etc.) , as well as cooperatives themselves.

Importantly, it also attempts to draw connections between organizations that are working together on projects. It is not comprehensive, but it gives us a sense of who is involved and in what, and who is on the periphery to bring in. Some projects that are highlighted include the Worker Cooperative Business Development Initiative, leadership programs, and digital platforms, exemplifying the alliances among organizations and cooperatives providing support in the ecosystem. Hover over a grey dot to see which organizations are involved in that project.

If you do not see your organization or cooperative on the map whatsoever, or there is a project we are missing, please write Leigh Brown at lbrown@institute.coop. If you see your organization or cooperative here and wish for it to be removed, also let Leigh know.
